• Computational genetics work related to disease gene discovery.  
• Candidate will perform linkage analysis and whole genome sequencing (WGS) on several families with a rare disorder. Some cleaned data already in place, in which linkage and variant analyses will be performed. New data will be QCed and variants annotated. Analysis pipeline requires programing expertise.
• Help PI with interpretation and literature/ database follow-up.  Assist PI with presentations. 

• BS related to both biological and computational fields (bioinformatics, genetics with bioinformatics experience, or CSE with genetics minor).
• Relevant experience in bioinformatics or genetics.  Programing experience in R or Python.  Pipeline of bioinformatics programs.

• Master's degree.  Experience in both wet lab and bioinformatic analysis.  Basic molecular genetics (DNA extraction, PCR).  Experience with WES and/ or WGS analysis.
