Director, Center for Cell and Gene Therapy
DIRECTOR, CENTER FOR CELL AND GENE THERAPY The primary focus of the Director, Center for Cell and Gene Therapy will be to develop a coordinated institutional effort across clinical services, clinical labs and production facilities involved in transplantation and cell/gene therapy. At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) there are currently over 700 bone marrow transplants (BMT), 5 autologous gene-transduced BMTs, and over 100 immune effector cell (IEC) infusions performed annually with significant expected growth over the next five years in both hematological malignancies and solid tumor.
