Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryJob DescriptionThis opportunity will conduct research as a scientist or post-doctoral position in a lung biology lab investigating the cell biology of airway epithelial cells in human disease. Current scientific questions address the structure and function of ciliated airway cells, dysfunction in genetic diseases, including primary ciliary dyskinesia and acquired disease, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methodologies commonly used include: primary tissue culture, microscopy, analysis of gene expression at the protein and RNA levels, and genetic manipulation.
