Position Summary We seek an assistant professor to join our research initiative on evolutionary and functional genomics. Candidates in related areas of biology with expertise in lamprey and/or fish biology and interests in genomics will be considered. The successful applicant will 1) study genomic and environmental regulation of physiology and behavior, including reproduction, metamorphosis, neurobiology, or life history strategies, in sea lamprey and zebrafish, 2) develop genetically modified sea lamprey and evaluate the phenotypic outcomes, and 3) oversee the daily operations of a newly constructed facility for fish genome editing.
