We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist to join the Cell & Gene Therapy group within NIBR's Immuno-Oncology and Hematology department. You'll become a key individual contributor in a dynamic, multidisciplinary discovery team interrogating novel immuno-oncology targets and cell therapy platforms and will generate data that increases our understanding of emerging CAR-T cell therapies. The high-quality data generated by your efforts will directly affect the development of novel treatment methods and contribute to the design of future clinical trials. This position will be ideal for those candidates wishing to link their interest in immuno-oncology with their strong desire to discover and help develop therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to: *Plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments with minor supervision; accurately record, interpret, and communicate data to team members. *Establish assays utilizing primary cells and cell lines to identify and validate targets of potential therapeutic interest. *Present data in meetings and deliver presentations to both small and large groups. *The candidate needs to have robust knowledge of immune cell biology.
