Job Description Summary: The Culinary Services department at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a qualified candidate for a Cook position in our Catering & Events department.Responsibilities will include:- Assist the sous chef with preparing hot and cold food for breakfast and lunch including eggs, pancakes, salads, sandwiches, and soup.- Take inventory and restock products.- Maintain cooking equipment and a sanitary work environment.- Troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs on the kitchen and coffee equipment.- Consistently provide quality food and beverages for all customers by adhering to the menu, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.- Interact with customers and coworkers in an attentive, friendly, court
