A postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Perna is available to work in translational research studies in hematology and immunotherapy developments. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with research experience (minimum 3 years) in the areas of molecular cloning, cancer cell biology, immunobiology, and mouse models. Experience in hematopoiesis and/or bioinformatics is highly considered. Duties or techniques may include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Cell sorting and analysis by flow cytometry * Cell culture * Viral production and transduction * Generation of vectors and reagents * Western blotting, cellular and protein analysis * CRISPR/Cas9 * Animal models * Drug sensitivity assays * Maintaining accurate records of experiments and results * Communicating with other team members and senior departmental members * Presenting data locally and at national and international meetings
