The cover letter should address your specific interest in the position and outline skills and experience that directly relate to this position.The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, invites applications for a post-doctoral fellow to work on cellular and mouse models of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Work will involve using CRISPR/Cas9 methods to knockout and overexpressing genes in liver cell lines and determine their effects on lipid accumulation, VLDL export, beta oxidation or other cellular processes. They will also carry out genome wide CRISPR/Cas9 screens to identify genes involved in lipid accumulation in liver cells. Images
