Research Associate-Fixed Term
Position Summary A Research Associate (Post-Doc) position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sean Crosson in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Michigan State University. We seek an excellent post-doctoral associate to conduct research to understand molecular mechanisms of environmental stress resistance in anaerobic gut bacteria and in intracellular bacterial pathogens. Strong skills in anaerobic cultivation, microbial community analysis, and bacterial metabolism is expected. The successful applicant will be independent, motivated, and able to work as part of a collaborative team.
