The Integrated Genomics Operation (IGO) core enables basic, clinical, and translational science by providing a broad range of genomic services and expertise to clinicians and scientists at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. We are the central point of contact for all research sequencing activities at MSKCC, producing over 200TB of data per year and processing about 50,000 samples! We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join IGOs Data Team. Our team writes the software that is used throughout the lab and at every step of sample processing from sample receiving to fastq/pipeline delivery including tracking every aliquot in the Laboratory Information System (LIMS) on to post-sequencing NGS data generation from BCL to fastq to BAM file
