Postdoc using chromosome synthesis to study genetics, evolution, and systems biology
The Ehrenreich lab at the University of Southern California (USC) will hire a postdoc to use chromosome synthesis to study the genetic and molecular basis of cellular life and its diversity. We have developed approaches for capturing segments of natural chromosomes and reassembling them into synthetic chromosomes in a programmable manner in yeast.
