The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (Sr. CRC) will work on translational science research projects within the Applied Genomics (AG) laboratory. The AG laboratory services the I-SPY breast cancer clinical trials that characterize biomarkers of response to various therapies. The I-SPY trial is open at 30 sites across the US and screens more than 400 patients a year. About 300 patients go onto treatment on the trial and the laboratory receives over 10,000 specimens each year. Various assays will be conducted on the collected biological specimens, including identification of immunohistochemical markers, genomic profiling, gene expression, proteomic arrays, serum proteomics, and various protein tests.
