Post-Doctoral Associate in the Division of Science (Biology) - Marine Microbial Ecology Lab (Amin Lab)
The Amin laboratory in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a postdoctoral associate to work on metabolomes of marine organisms, particularly phytoplankton and corals.The successful applicant will drive a fascinating project to enhance identification and quantification of metabolites involved in phytoplankton-microbiome symbioses and coral symbiosis and how these metabolites contribute to climate change adaptation. Our laboratory has access to state-of-the-art mass spectrometry facility that includes a Bruker FT-ICRMS, two Thermo Orbitrap mass spectrometers, qToF, triple-quad MS and GCMS.
