Assistant Professor - Animal Breeding and Genomics
Description The Department of Animal Sciences announces a tenure-track faculty position (academic year) in Animal Breeding and Genomics with emphasis in research (primary) and teaching (secondary). The successful candidate will develop a nationally and internationally recognized program that elucidates and applies quantitative genetics and genomics methods to improve relevant traits in livestock and/or poultry. Areas of expertise should include, but are not limited to, applied, theoretical, and computational approaches to animal breeding, genomic selection, population genetics, mixed model methodology, and livestock data science.
