The Fudenberg group at the University of Southern California (USC) has long-term funding to support multiple postdoctoral fellows to develop computational approaches to identify and answer fundamental questions in 3D genome biology. Potential projects can involve biophysical simulations, machine learning, or both. We are excited to develop new approaches for: sequence-based design of DNA folding, discovery of new 3D genome folding regulators, and probing mechanisms of chromosome folding.Â Our group is part of the Quantitative and Computational Biology Department at USC, which hosts an incredible range of computational biology research all on one floor.
