Research Assistant II - Rokas Lab
The Research Assistant II position is part of the Rokas Laboratory / Department of Biological Sciences at Vanderbilt University and is a key individual contributor responsible for research in evolutionary genomics of fungi at Vanderbilt. This position requires familiarity with standard molecular biology and microbiology techniques. Reporting directly to the Lab PI (Rokas), the position requires the ability to prepare standard buffers and common use reagents, culture different species of fungi, isolate DNA, RNA, and protein data for genomic analyses, and perform standard growth assays of fungi.
