The Department of Biology at Tufts University seeks a part-time, non-tenure-track faculty member to teach the lecture component of an introductory course for majors (Bio 13 – Cells and Organisms) in summer of 2022 (May 25 – July 1). The instructor's responsibilities will be to organize and teach the lecture portion of the course that explores fundamentals of cellular and molecular biology, highlighting the basics of biochemistry, energy flow, gene transfer and gene expression. Summer enrollment is about 30 students meeting in person for 7 hours of lecture each week. Virtual accommodation of students who are unable to attend in-person sessions may be necessary.
