The Division of Hematology/Oncology is seeking a motivated and organized administrative professional for a Program Coordinator role. This role will provide clinical and academic administrative support to the Gene Therapy Program in our joint Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. This role will allow for part-time remote work but will require at least 2-3 days/week onsite
The Program Coordinator I will be responsible for:
Coordinating activities and daily operations of the program, including booking travel/lodging for patients and assist in booking appointments and procedures for patients on ongoing clinical trials
Scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars and coordinating travel arrangements for PIs.
Maintaining PIs' files and credentialing paperwork; updating PIs' CV and information in Digital Measures database.
May prepare or assist in preparation and submission of research grants and manuscripts for publication.
Confers with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals. Refers inquiries to others as needed.
May assist with special projects.
Drafting written communication and helping with webpage maintenance.
May assist in planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.

To qualify, you must have:
Associate's degree with one year of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Work requires the ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
