The Center for Developmental Health is a research center within the Knight Cardiovascular Institute and includes a collaboration of research scientists focused on discovering causes of heart disease throughout a persons lifespan, translating research into new treatments and communicating preventative measures to the medical community and lay public. This position will support the scientific research program of Dr. Kent Thornburg. Duties of the position include: Keep an up-to-date lab notebook, maintain organized data records, and communicate the progress and results of experiments clearly and routinely. Perform all steps from cell/tissue RNA extraction to real-time PCR for gene expression
