Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Magee lab studies the mechanisms that regulate childhood blood development and genetic changes that cause leukemia in children. We have several projects related to these general topics. Each focuses on gene regulation â“ and changes that occur in gene regulation â“ during stem cell development and differentiation. We use mice to model pediatric malignancies. We are also modeling genetic variation in pediatric leukemia with mouse induced pluripotent stem cells and human leukemia xenografts. The overall goal of our work is to develop new treatments for children with leukemia and other blood disorders.Trainees will gain experience in mouse models of human malignancies, hematopoietic stem cell biolog
