I am looking for a researcher/lab manager for a drosophila neurobiology lab. Research will involve molecular and biochemical work, fly genetics and dissections, fly husbandry, tissue preparation and optical imaging. The researcher will work closely with the research assistant professor, but be able to optimize procedures and carryout experiments and analysis independently. Additional activities include maintaining inventory and equipment, ordering supplies and making solutions. The researcher will also assist in the training of new lab members, including undergraduate students and postdoctoral researchers.50% Perform and analyze cell and biochemical experiments.
