Location: Hyde Park CampusJob Description:Maintains technical and administrative support for molecular genetics research in neurodegenerative diseases, including cell culturing, cellular transfection, flow cytometry, mitochondrial bioenergetics, intracerebral transmission of viral vectors, laser capture microdissection for genetic analysis, and preparation of cell and tissue samples.Employ computational biology and bioinformatics methods using these complex and large biological datasets to generate new or validate existing testable hypotheses concerning disease mechanisms, and genotype-phenotype correlations. Developing new software applications or the customization of existing applications to meet specific scientific project needs.Analyzes and maint
