The IGM leads cutting-edge research programs developing and characterizing cellular and animal models of human disease and therapeutic interventions. The Frankel and Gelinas laboratories in the IGM seek a postdoctoral scientist to study severe childhood epilepsy using precision genetic mouse models. Our joint focus is on understanding pathophysiologic features during postnatal development, and in trialing genetic therapies to rescue these and other features of disease observed in the models. The position is unique as it offers expert training in both in vivo electrophysiology (Gelinas
