Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Christopher Vakoc. A successful candidate for this position will have completed PhD training in any of the broad areas of cell biology, molecular genetics, protein biochemistry, or structural biology. This scientist will lead a project that seeks to discover and characterize the molecular interactions of oncogenic transcription factors to elucidate epigenetic mechanisms at high-resolution. A key element of this project will be to collaborate with scientists in the biotech industry to advance the development of small-molecules as targeted cancer therapy, and hence this training position will have a strong potential for career advancement in academia or in the pharmaceutical industry.
