The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Michigan is seeking to hire a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to serve as Head of Obstetric Imaging at Michigan
Medicine. The level of this position will be based on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Primary responsibilities will include:
Management of the obstetric imaging service
Participate in strategic capacity growth and volume of entire obstetric imaging service
Continued growth of the fetal diagnostic and therapy program requiring partnership with MFM Division Director, Department/Hospital leadership, pediatric surgery, regional partners and other important stakeholders
Additional responsibilities include teaching fellows, residents and medical students within our obstetric imaging unit and leadership of the obstetric sonographer and genetic counseling team. The successful applicant will have an area of academic interest upon which to develop or continue a career focus.
M.D., Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Hold or have the ability to obtain appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence and evidence of competence in clinical and/or didactic teaching is expected.
This position is posted as Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor /Clinical Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications.
