When the work you do every single day has a crucial impact on the lives of others, every effort, every detail, and every second matters. This shared culture of happiness, passion, and dedication pulses through Cedars-Sinai, and it's just one of the many reasons why we rank as one of the top hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
Are you ready to be a part of breakthrough research?
Working independently but in close cooperation and in consultation with the Principal Investigator and other Research Scientists, this role will carryout routine and complex laboratory procedures throughout the training period in the field of cancer biology
Our lab research interests are to uncover and define immune-mediated mechanisms regulating inflammation as a common denominator of various immune-mediated pathologies such as atherosclerosis, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), obesity and cancer. We study the intersection between cytokine signaling and effects of microbiota and microbial metabolites on inflammation and cancer development.
Main research directions include:
Role of inflammation and cytokines in liver cancer of different etiologies
Link between host microbiome, metabolites, inflammation and atherosclerosis
How cytokines regulate hematopoietic stem cells to promote cardiovascular disease development
The role of cytokine signaling in adipose tissue inflammation and atherosclerosis
We have recently relocated to Cedars-Sinai and are needing passionate scientists who work independently but in close cooperation and consultation with the Principal Investigator and other scientists. Successful candidates will contribute to current projects as well as develop their own line(s) of research within the scientific interests of the lab.
Postdoctoral Scientist will perform complex laboratory procedures throughout their training period within immunology and cancer biology and will be responsible for conceptual and technical contribution to drive exciting projects forward.
