The Laboratory of Targeted Therapeutics in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Rutgers University is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for a full-time appointment in Piscataway, New Jersey. The campus is located 30 minutes south of New York City and 30 minutes north of Princeton.
Project Description: We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to work on a translational research project funded by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH). The research project is focused on the development of stem cell-based targeted therapeutic systems for image-guided gene therapy and immunotherapy of cancer.

The candidate must have a PhD in Cell Biology, Immunology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with stem cell engineering (e.g., mesenchymal, iPSCs, etc.), molecular and cellular biology techniques, stable cell production and animal work (mice) is highly desired. Fluency in speaking and writing English is required. Candidate must have desire to learn new techniques, write manuscripts/reports/protocols, train students and be able to work independently. The applicant must be able to multitask and interested in contributing to several other ongoing projects in the lab.
