Postdoctoral Scholar
The Pap Research Institute is dedicated to building a state-of-the-art research facility with a focus on studying numerous childhood diseases, such as diabetes, neurological disorders, hemophilia, pediatric cancer and metabolic disorders. The overall focus of our research program is on the development of novel therapies for disorders with currently inadequate treatments. In order to complement the cell transplantation expertise of the adjacent Oregon Stem Cell Center, we will focus our efforts on building the promising area of gene therapy. In addition, we have a particular interest in disorders of the blood, including leukemia. Over time, we plan to build a powerful synergistic environment capable of developing new stem cell transplantation and new gene transfer platf
