Research Assistant I Lab
The Greenberg lab at Harvard Medical School examines how neuronal activity induced by sensory experience shapes the maturation and plasticity of the nervous system. Neuronal activity triggers a cascade of molecular signaling events in neurons, including modifications to the epigenome, transcriptome, and proteome, which promote long–lasting effects on the physiology and connectivity of neuronal networks. Our lab uses a combination of mouse genetics, biochemistry, and sequencing technologies to uncover new mechanisms controlling these signaling events and to explore their significance during development and in diseases of the nervous system. Specifically, we are seeking assistance for projects 1) exploring the role of neuronal activity in aging and nervous system rejuvenatio
