This is a twenty-four-month, non-renewable appointment. During this appointment, the Post-Doctoral Fellow will work closely with University of Chicago faculty members from the Oriental Institute and the Department of Human Genetics to do extraction and analysis of ancient DNA from Bronze Age human remains excavated at archaeological sites in the Middle East as part of a research project entitled "Genomes, Migrations, and Culture in the Early Civilizations of the Middle East." She will also assist in publishing the results of the research as a co-author and will help to organize quarterly workshops and an international conference on archaeogenetic research concerning the ancient Mediterranean and Middle East.
