The Gresham Lab at NYU's Department of Biology is looking for a highly motivated and independent individual to work as a Junior Laboratory Associate.
This position is ideal for a trainee preparing for a research path. It will provide development of technical skills, supervision by senior scientists incorporating individual development plans in support of training goals, and exposure to diverse ongoing research projects. Publication of research findings during the appointment period is likely. The laboratory associate will contribute to existing projects on viral evolution and gene expression analysis in both humans and model systems. Current projects in the lab are aimed at studying virus-host interactions and optimization of vaccination strategies in humans.
