The Brugge lab has a long-standing interest in studying breast cancer using innovative techniques, with the ultimate goal to help improve treatment strategies for patients. We are looking for a highly motivated research assistant to join our team. As a research assistant, you will be working on projects that investigate the mechanisms of breast cancer initiation and progression using advanced mouse models and organoid culture systems, under direct supervision and mentorship of a senior postdoctoral fellow. Former technicians in the lab have successfully moved on to MD and/or Ph.D. programs as well as industry positions.

College background or equivalent work experience, preferably in a related discipline (at least one year related work experience - relevant course work may count towards experience).
Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related field preferred. Minimum 1-year experience in a research laboratory setting strongly preferred.
Willing to make a two-year commitment dependent on renewal of position after 1-year term.
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred: mouse handling, cell culture, microscopy. -Highly motivated, good work ethic, and able to work independently and as a team.
