We are hiring a Stem Cell technologist for our growing Cell and Gene Therapy Lab at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Come work at the #1 ranked Pediatric Cancer Center with the team that got the first-ever CAR-T cell therapy approved!
We are a FACT-accredited clinical cGMP lab that manufactures cell and gene therapy (CGT) products for a variety of patient uses following FDA regulations and CAP guidelines. We routinely perform autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants, graft manipulation (T cell depletions), CAR-T infusions, viral CTL manufacture, and other new types of products are in the pipeline.
Working closely with a talented team of stem cell technologists, you will work in a clean room environment and process cell and gene therapy products following established basic Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will also interact with quality assurance personnel, write/revise SOPs, perform audits, and validate new equipment or processes.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working within a cGMP environment and have facility with stringent aseptic operations and accurate documentation following Good Documentation Practices. However, we welcome applications from talented and motivated candidates who are looking to transition from a research background. A commitment of two years is expected.

BS in biology or equivalent or undergraduate degree in medical technology (MT ASCP)
At least three years of relevant laboratory experience (immunology, blood banking, or other)
ASCP certification desirable
