The Department of Physiology ( http://www.uthsc.edu/physiology ) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center seeks an outstanding researcher in cardiovascular and renal diseases to fill an open, full-time, non-tenure, Instructor level position. This position will be supported by A NIH funded R01 grant.
The primary duties include performing experiments, collecting, and analyzing data, writing manuscripts and reporting to Dr. Zhongjie Sun.
We seek candidates having experience with at least three of the followings: epigenetics, CRISP/Cas9, autophagy, stem cell biology, viral vectors, renal tubule epithelial cell biology, vascular biology, or telemetry.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. and a minimum of three years post-doctoral experience or equivalent.
