Research Assistant I, Department of Biological Sciences (TERM)
This Research Assistant I (TERM) position will be part of the Patton Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences at Vanderbilt University and is a key research position responsible for experiments that contribute to an NIH grant focusing on colorectal cancer. The position demands technical skills to label and capture RNA from cells and extracellular vesicles. This position will be responsible for experiments designed to test whether extracellular miRNAs can be shared between cells. Reporting directly to the lab PI, Dr. Patton, this position will be expected to play a key role in the completion of aims from a collaborative grant involving the Patton, Weaver, and Coffey labs.
