Full-time, 12 month faculty position in the Genetic Counseling Program, Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences, School of Health Professions (SHP). SHP is one of our nation's largest and most diverse schools of its type with more than twenty programs at the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels. The UAB Genetic Counseling Training Program has full accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling. The Genetic Counseling Program has an excellent relationship with the UAB medical school and surrounding medical community.
Primary responsibilities include teaching and program administration with opportunities for clinical service and scholarly research. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
