ActX, Inc. is a dynamic company whose mission is bringing patient genomic information to the everyday medical practice. We are seeking a Genetic Counselor to work remotely 15 to 20 hours a week doing variant curation through literature analysis.
Job requirements:
MS in Genetic Counseling from a US University
Proven experience in literature research and analysis, both scientific and clinical
Experience in gene curation or willingness to participate in a training program on variant curation
Proactive, self-motivating work style
Job responsibilities:
Research risks, carrier status, and traits as assigned
Contribute to the ActX genomics knowledge-base by writing up risks, traits, and carrier status for physicians and patients
Curation of gene variants as assigned
Help with QA of patient batch data as assigned
