Position SummaryTwo Research Associate positions are available in the Gilad Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) and the Institute for Quantitative Health Science and Engineering (IQ) at Michigan State University. The research project focuses on:
The successful candidates will be expected to conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, give presentations about the research, write papers and provide progress reports to the Principal Investigator, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the lab. This position is a 12-month fixed term appointment. Renewal of position is based on funding and performance. Application review will begin on April 7, 2021. This position is available immediately. Experience in synthetic biology, cloning and expression, protein engineering, MRI and/or PET imaging, computational biology/machine learning, mammalian cell culture/stem cell culture and/or iPSCs is an advantage.
