Breast Imaging Radiologist - Clinical Faculty

Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Breast Imaging Clinical Faculty in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Breast Imagers at Rush are expected to interpret screening and diagnostic 2D/3D tomosynthesis mammograms, breast MRIs, ABUS, and Contrast Enhanced Mammograms. Breast imagers perform ultrasound, MRI and stereotactic and tomosynthesis guided biopsies as well as ultrasound, tomosynthesis, stereotactic and mammographically guided Savi-Scout and wire localizations. Breast imagers participate in the multidisciplinary breast tumor board conference and teach residents and medical students in the clinic and through conference presentations. The successful candidates will possess professional qualifications that include: board certification in diagnostic radiology, fellowship training in breast imaging, MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent), and have experience in clinical and/or translational research. Our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center facility in Chicago will serve as a hub for services throughout our health system. Our core programs are supported by multi-disciplinary teams from medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, research and bioinformatics, clinical operations, and dedicated clinical and support staff, including patient navigators. This outstanding multidisciplinary approach with data infrastructure allows us to offer personalized precision breast imaging centered on comprehensive and compassionate patient-centered care.
