The Environmental Genomics Laboratory at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a Postdoctoral researcher who have experience in genetics and immunology to investigate the molecular mechanisms of immune response to infection. The successful candidate will be working on clinically relevant phenotypes at the genome, epigenome, transcriptome, metabolome and cellular levels. This position suits best experimental immunologists with hands-on experience with omics data. Candidates with training in computational immunology and who have a demonstrated interest in infectious diseases are also welcome to apply. The successful candidate will lead their own individual projects and will have the opportunity to develop novel ideas and collaborative projects that align with the research theme of the lab.
PhD degree in a relevant field of biology
Research experience within innate and adaptive immunity
Experience of mammalian cell culture of primary cells and cell lines
Experience in infectious disease immunology and genomics
Strong quantitative analytical and scientific writing skills
A sense of humor
