| Location: IU School of Medicine Department: IUSM - Pediatrics Campus: IU School of Medicine Indianapolis Position Announcement: The Ryan White Center for Pediatric Infectious Diseases & Global Health, operating within the Wells Center for Pediatric Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Assistant Research Professor position. Work will include, but not be limited to: general gut microbiota laboratory techniques to prepare samples for next-generation sequencing, utilizing bioinformatic pipelines to characterize gut microbiota communities derived from mouse and human populations, general murine malaria lab techniques, manipulation of the murine gut microbiota, in vitro culturing of gut microbiota using anaerobic and aerobic techniques, gnotobiotic mouse husbandry, working collaboratively with research teams in international sites to conduct research studies on malaria and gut microbiota, assisting in grant writing regarding such studies, supervising research activity in IU labs, and training students and staff in the IU and international sites in bioinformatic analysis of gut microbiota communities.
