![]() Postdoctoral Research Associate Wu Laboratory Title: 306-NN - Postdoctoral Research Associate Business Title: Postdoctoral Research Associate | Wu Laboratory Additional Titles: Location: WSU SPOKANE CAMPUS Employee Type: Faculty (+) (Fixed Term) Job Family: Faculty - Academic - Not OT Eligible Position Details: Summary of Duties: A postdoctoral fellow position is available in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Washington State University Spokane with Dr. Boyang (Jason) Wu. The research will be focused on molecular/cellular and preclinical studies on 1) understanding of androgenic and neural signaling and their contributions to antiandrogen drug resistance in castration-resistant and neuroendocrine prostate cancer, and 2) characterizing tumor-stromal interactions underlying prostate cancer growth, progression and metastasis. Renewal is dependent on your performance appraisal, mutual consent, and available funding. Required Qualifications: Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, with a proven track record of creativity and productivity. Candidates are expected to be self-motivated and have strong oral/written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with xenograft mouse models of human cancers especially prostate cancer and bioinformatic data mining is highly desired.
