Position available within the Perera Laboratory for a Postdoctoral Scholarspecialized in the biomedical applications of machine/deep learning (position is grant funded). Our laboratory focuses on the pharmacogenomics of drug response in cardiovascular medicine and hepatic drug metabolism in minority populations.
We are looking for a self-motivated postdoctoral fellow who can take initiative in forging machine learning methods for the prediction of disease outcome/drug response using the lab’s unique multi-omics datasets.
The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of RNA-seq analysis, differential gene expression, eQTL analysis, and statistical genetics. This is a highly collaborative clinically focused lab, with opportunities for to interact with statistical genetics, cancer biology, and cardiology.
