Division of Medical Genetics Clinical Genetics Faculty Position We are recruiting a clinical geneticist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor to expand our program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Department of Pediatrics/ Division of Medical Genetics at The University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. The candidate will be working with a team of dedicated physicians, nurse practitioner, metabolic nutritionist, nurse, genetic counselors, social worker, plus a full administrative staff. Clinical and translational research opportunities are also available. The successful candidate will have clinical and teaching responsibilities. Independent research is strongly encouraged. There are several research/clinical/education tracks available, depending upon the qualifications and interest of the applicant. In addition to our outpatient activities, we provide close consultative support for babies, children and adolescents with a wide variety of complex and rare disorders on the inpatient service. We have growing telemedicine, Neurogenetic, Cardiogenomic and Genetic Bone Disorder centers as well as opportunities for development of other clinical multispecialty programs. Advancement in an academic career is supported by strong mentorship and often with intramural funding.
