![]() University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF06100 DESCRIPTION Department of Molecular, Cell & Developmental Biology LECTURER, Developmental Biology Position: The Department of Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology seeks a dynamic instructor to teach an upper division undergraduate level Developmental Biology course for the upcoming 2021 spring quarter. The course: DUTIES: Teach lecture course on developmental biology. Plan and coordinate discussion activities for multiple sections of courses; supervise course teaching assistants; manage the acquisition and maintenance of course materials; create and administer exams; and maintain office hours. QUALIFICATIONS: Masters in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Bioengineering preferred. Experience teaching cell/developmental biology, molecular genetics or evolution/ecology preferred. Research in developmental biology not required but desirable. Commitment to keeping this course agile, changing and updating material as needed. TERM OF APPOINTMENT: Spring 2021 quarter. DEADLINE: Review of applications will begin immediately.
