![]() Lab Research Assistant Stanford University The Program in Epithelial Biology in the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 (LSRP1) to join the multidisciplinary team in the Wang Lab. We are seeking a talented and ambitious LSRP who can independently conduct and analyze research experiments designed for epigenetic analysis, chromatin and RNA biology, and gene regulation in cancer and stem cells. The candidate must have excellent communication and collaborative skills to succeed in this position. Responsibilities include performing cell culture (maintaining cell lines, transgenic expression), molecular biology techniques (CRISPR, PCR, cloning, running DNA and protein gels), protein characterization (purification, detection), and other duties as assigned. The LSRP is expected to work closely with the research team and PI to develop protocols, plan and execute experiments, analyze and interpret data, modify experiments as needed, and assist in organization and general maintenance of the lab.
