Yale School of Medicine Department of Pathology Assistant/Associate Professor in Pathology The Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine invites applications from PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent for a full-time appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will be positioned to establish an innovative basic and/or translational research program centered on disease mechanisms. The candidate is expected to maintain a vigorous externally funded research program that complements those of current faculty and builds on existing strengths. High priority research areas include Cancer, Geroscience, Epigenetics, Inflammation, Neurodegeneration and Molecular Diagnostics. Investigational approaches of interest include, but are not limited to, experimental biology, systems level computational biology and imaging. Other responsibilities will include contributions to Yale’s teaching and service missions and, if appropriate, its clinical programs. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to fostering diversity within the Department and University. Appointment to the faculty of the Yale School of Medicine and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences will be at a rank commensurate with accomplishments and experience.
