The Center for Immuno-Oncology (CIO) at Dana-Farber is seeking a Scientist (New PhD grads encouraged to apply!) to contribute to the development of tissue-based biomarkers to guide patient selection and therapies in the field of cancer immunology. The CIO is multi-disciplinary group that includes investigators in basic and clinical research and is dedicated to the discovery, development, and application of novel diagnostics and therapies in cancer immunology. The Scientist will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact publications and mentor junior Technicians. They will also have the privilege of closely partnering with departmental leadership while collaborating cross-functionally. The Scientist should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively while exhibiting strong time & project management skills. Experience with the laboratory techniques used to study primary tissue samples such as flow cytometry, gene expression profiling, and next-generation sequencing (NGS), is desired. Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought.
