Bioinformatics Analyst

We are looking for an intelligent, hard-working, and dynamic individual to serve as a Bioinformatics Analyst within the Dana-Farber Bioinformatics and Data Science Group, a subdivision of the DFCI Informatics and Analytics department led by the Chief Health Information Officer. The Bioinformatics and Data Science Group encompasses expertise in bioinformatics, data science and machine learning, and seeks to develop a highly interdisciplinary environment supporting DFCI research, clinical, and operational staff. The group works with some of the most prominent research and clinical DFCI programs, from basic research to translational research, to clinical diagnostics and operations. Our goal is to advance the DFCI mission to provide expert, compassionate care to children and adults with cancer, while working towards better understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure, and prevention of cancer and related diseases. As we widen our collaborations with several crucial centers and programs at DFCI, we look for experts to support our key initiatives relying on genomic data and professionals who possess the ability to independently lead projects while providing mentorship and guidance to other team members. Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) brings together world renowned clinicians, innovative researchers and dedicated professionals, allies in the common mission of conquering cancer, HIV/AIDS and related diseases.
