The Department of Biological Sciences (https://biology.utdallas.edu/) in the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) invites applications for a tenure-system faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates with strong research and teaching accomplishments in microbiome research are encouraged to apply. We especially encourage applications from candidates using novel experimental and computational approaches to address broad and significant research questions in microbiome that complement and expand existing departmental strengths.

Preferred Education and Experience:
An earned PhD in Biology (including Microbiology, Virology, Botany and Computational Biology) and post-doctoral experience is required.
